Can’t bridge xbox 360 with my computers internet?

First my goal is to connect to xbox live by connecting my xbox to my computer which is connected wirelessly to a router.

Okay my problem is that I have moderate Nat which is causing xbox live problems. I can talk and log on but I was unable to join my friend in a game. Now if I use windows internet shairing I get a connection and can get on live. How ever my xbox has a 192.168.0.x ip address and to forward ports I need an ip address of 192.168.1.x (let x be 1-999). So when I tried to make my xbox have an ip address of 192.168.1.x it cannot connect.

So now to try to fix my Nat problem I want to create a network bridge so I can have both the wireless connection and xbox on the same ip address of 192.168.1.x. I bridge my wireless and xbox together and when I am done I have no connection on either.

I want to get both of the ip address static at 192.168.1.x so I can forward the ports. If anyone knows any great guides please let me know.

Thank you for your time.

  1. i am not sure about the network bridge, but i do know how to fix your NAT. just access your router configuration by yping in the static IP of your router in to your internet browser. then find something like Applications or gaming; but what you are looking for is DMZ. just set the DMZ to the IP of your xbox and your NAT will be open. this worls for me and i even did it for a friend.

hope this helps and gets best answer
