Look I’m getting upset my mics keep on breaking. Can anyone tell me what are some good headsets that are reliable.
Update:
Don’t tell me to get a PS3, I regret getting that system so don’t tell me that.

  1. Turtle Beaches are really good headsets, if you want to just chat w/ friends x11’s work great. but if your in gamebattles or something, x31s or 41s (expensive). and if you have the money, Astros or Trittons.

  2. Yeah turtle beach headsets are really good, I have one (: But the wireless mics that are like $50 are not too bad, but by the time you get that you might as well splurge for a cheap turtle beach because the cheapest one is like $60.

Those $20 wired mics are crap. XD

  3. turtle beach x11 its not too expensive and i love it its comparable to other brands $100+ models bit its only like $50-$60 a little expensive but not too bad

DON’T GET THE MICROSOFT WIRELESS HEADSET! THEY ARE GOOD FOR A WHILE BUT LIKE ALL MICROSOFT CRAP THEY WILL BRAKE WITHOUT WARNING JUST AFTER THE WARRANTY. THERE ARE SEVERAL ARTICLES ABOUT IT IF YOU DON’T TRUST ME.

  4. if your a hardcore gamer get either the astro a40’s, Tritton ax pro, or the turtle beach x41 ( beware these cost $150+) if your a casual gamer get either turtle beach x or tritton ax 180

  5. Turtle Beaches are the best that are still relatively cheap.

The cheapest is $30, the XLC, but I’m not sure how great they are.

I have the $60 Earforce X11(can buy these at Walmart/Gamestop) and they work very well. The stereo sounds are excellent(you can turn the TV all the way down and hear it through the headset, which helps at night), especially in games like Call of Duty, and the microphone picks up a lot better than the crappy $20 Microsoft ones. Only problems I’ve had is they’re pretty heavy and kinda hurts after long gameplay and the wires are a bit annoying. Otherwise, worth it.

Of course, you can get wireless headsets, but they’re quite a bit more expensive ($40+)

There’s also companies like Tritton who also sell headsets, but they’re a tad more expensive usually. I don’t think there’s a huge difference besides looks, but I’ve never owned a Tritton before.
